Viñales

Very touristy. Many buses arrive from hotels in Havana for a day trip. From 10 am to 5 pm the village is full of tourists. It is therefore preferable to get away from the city centre to explore the countryside on horseback, on foot or by bicycle. It is better to discover the fauna and flora.

• Hotel Los Jasmines, one of the most beautiful viewpoints on the Viñales Valley.
• Discovery of the valley on foot or on horseback, Mural de la Prehistoria, Tobacco plantation, visit to the tobacco kiln, "Los Palmaritos" cave with underground river where you can swim. Allow between 3h (without the cave "Los Palmaritos") and 5h return. RATE (horse riding or walking): 5 $ per hour per person with Yoanis (speaks French).
• San Thomas Cave in La Moncada (10 kms from Viñales). Entrance 10 $ per person.
• Other tourist places in Viñales (Cave of the Indian, El Palenque, Garden of Caridad, visit to the village of Viñales, etc...).

If you don't have a vehicle, taxi possible 55 $ for the whole day.
